In the beginning ...

... there was a girl. The girl had many good things in her life but yet she was still afraid.

I am afraid of so many things in life.

If in others the onset of fears breeds faith or courage in me it finds a sterile ground.  Anxiety becomes paralyzing.  Down, down, down I am falling into a deep well: so deep that no sunlight reaches and nothing dwells: where everything is cold and dark and full of emptiness.

Fear is the monster that has stolen my dreams.  The giant that hides me in its shadow and then bends near stealing the breath from my lips.

March on. Do not tarry. To go forward is to move toward perfection. March on, and fear not the thorns, or the sharp stones on life's path. ~ Kahlil Gibran
